Great North Lodges Bookings
You may have booked one of our proeprties via their old agent Great North Lodges - we have prepared a short guide on what this means and how we are here to help.
Eagle Lodge, The Shambles, The Maltings, Snowmass Lodge
If you have booked Eagle Lodge, The Shambles, The Maltings or Snowmass Lodge through Great North Lodges you will have received notification your booking has been transferred to igloo. Whilst there is nothing to worry about there are some important things to be aware of.
First of all - your booking is completely safe and all properties are just as good as they have always been. We hope we can make your stay even better and offer an enhanced guest experience. Although we are a new agency we have a long standing relationship with the owners of these lodges.
If you still have a balance to pay this will be collected by igloo and this can be done using our secure guest area - you will recieve details of this and new booking reference by email. If you have not received this - please let us know as they can sometimes be caught in spam folders.
We understand you may wonder if igloo’s fair terms apply to your booking - we are very proud of the work we have done to ensure our policies are fair and inline with CMA guidelines.
Although your booking has been made via another agency and governed by their terms - we are happy to confirm we will move any booking made via Great North Lodges inline with our flexible bookings policy and any money you pay to igloo between now and your stay will be eligible for a refund in the event you need to cancel your booking.

The Eagle's Nest
If you have booked The Eagle's Nest through Great North Lodges for a stay in 2021 - Great North Lodges will be collecting any balances due for payment and will be providing you with all the info you need ahead of your stay. The terms and conditions of the booking with Great North Lodges will remain unaffected and they are the point of contact for any cancellations or changes. Like other lodge bookings we are happy to confirm we will move any booking made via Great North Lodges in line withour flexible booking policies.
For bookings arriving in 2022 we will be in touch ahead of your stay with details of our guest area and how you can pay if you have a balance due.
Whether your trip is in 2021 or 2022 we will be on hand looking after the property and all guests from June 2021. We look forward to providing a warm welcome to this fantastic property and if there is anything we can help with ahead of your stay - just let us know.
