Welcome to Woodside, a family home perched on the edge of the Caledonian Forest in Boat of Garten

One of the things that reviewers mention time and time again is location, and Woodside is a great fit for families with children, dogs or seasoned travellers looking for a great base. Boat of Garten, known as the Osprey Village is a friendly and charming location, central to the Cairngorm area with some absolute gems of it's own.

With an ample sized enclosed garden, guests can enjoy some time outside in the freshest of air. Children and dogs also have a safe place to play at Woodside. It would be crazy to come here without your bikes as there are trails networking you through the forests, and Woodside has a safe shed to store them in.

Woodside has a great living space which the owners have kitted out with everything your family might need for a great night in, including a wii and an xbox. firm favourites with the family and perhaps even us older children. Made very cosy by the underfloor heating, a real bonus on chilly days.
The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking for a group and also offers a lovely fresh dining space with french doors leading out into the garden.
There is a front porch for jackets and boots with a drying rack, and a bathroom with bath/shower completes the ground floor of Woodside.
Upstairs, the master bedroom boasts an en suite shower room. The bedroom has lovely views and has a very comfortable bed. All linen and towels are included, so no need to bring your own.
The second bedroom has a double bed with a single on top, offering a bit more flexibility for families.

Woodside is managed by igloo.scot and we provide a 24 hour call out service, should you need it during your stay.
A cleaning pack is provided of eco friendly products, and we also provide dog bowls and bags.

Nearby, Boat of Garten has some fantastic independednt business, and you can even jump on the Strathspey Steam Railway for a trip to Aviemore or Broomhill. A pump track has recently been completed and if you need bike hire, visit RIDE for all your biking needs. It also has a cake shop, so perfect place to refuel. Local gallery 1896 has some of the best of local arts and crafts you can buy, why not have a lovely reminder of your stay. The shop and post office stock some lovely ranges of food and you can also enjoy a night out at Andersons or The Boat Hotel for some of the finest local produce.

There are two bedrooms.
Bedroom 1 is a double room with ensuite.
Bedroom 2 has a triple bunk, double on bottom and single on top.
There is a sofa bed in the living room.

The property has a lounge, kitchen/diner, vestibule and bathroom on the ground floor.
The first floor has two bedrooms and an ensuite bathroom.

A newly built home, clad and in traditional style.

The house could accommodate a wheelchair user/ buggy on the ground floor but all sleeping areas are upstairs.
