Welcome to The Maltings, a luxurious country holiday home located near the charming village of Nethy Bridge in the Scottish Highlands. Our property was originally an oat mill built in 1749 and has been beautifully renovated to provide a secluded and peaceful retreat for families and their pets.

Our indoor living space features original features and heritage colors, with sumptuous furnishings and a wood-burning stove to warm up after a busy day outdoors. The old oat grinder now sits in the bar area, perfect for enjoying a few glasses of malt with your family and friends. The dining area is a great space for entertaining and showcasing your culinary skills.

Outside, our two acres of garden offer plenty of places to explore, relax, and enjoy the fresh air. There's a dedicated outdoor dining area for al fresco meals, as well as a recently renovated summerhouse for some quiet time or for the kids to let their imaginations run wild. The real highlight, however, is our luxury hot tub, where you can soak up the stunning views and enjoy the ever-changing Scottish weather, day or night.

The Maltings has four bedrooms, including a king-size room with en-suite, a king-size, a double, and a twin. There are also two bathrooms, a cloakroom WC, and a utility room with washing and drying facilities. We have also provided stair gates, stools, a games area, and board games to make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.

We are happy to welcome two well-behaved dogs at a fee of £30 per stay. Our garden is enclosed, and there is plenty of parking for four cars. During your stay, heating, electricity, and logs are included, as well as bed linen, towels, robes, and slippers. We also provide a welcome gift and information on local activities for families.

The Maltings is able to offer short breaks and full weeks and welcome at 4pm. Departure is required at 10am on your departure day. A £300 Breakage/Damage refundable deposit is required before arrival and is refunded 7 days after departure.
Accessibility - The property has steps to get to various levels and would not be suitable for wheelchairs. It would be accessible for prams and buggies.

The Maltings sleeps 8 plus an infant. A sofa bed is available for children in the games area should parents wish them to be closer to the upstairs double room.

The property has a kitchen, dining room, 3 bedrooms, bathrooms and access to outdoors on the ground floor. Upstairs, you find the living area and bar, games and reading snug and a master bedroom.
