How do we list our property with igloo Holiday Homes?
Fill out a contact form or call us and we will follow this up with a meeting and visit to your property. We will then send you a proposal detailing what we can offer you, our commission rates and a contract.
How many weeks can I use my holiday home?
We are happy for owners to use their holiday home as they wish. We have no limits on the amount of personal stays the owner can use.
Does your agency cover the Highlands?
Our portfolio is mainly in the Cairngorms area but we are always on the lookout for other properties in amazing locations across the Highlands.
What does your agency charge and when do we get paid?
We work on a commission based model charged on every booking we receive for you. We may have additional charges such as welcome packs or any purchases or services you have asked us to make on your behalf. We send owners their payments at the end of each month with a full breakdown of bookings, commission and other charges. The owner is paid for the guests that have stayed and departed during that month.
Will I get more bookings for my holiday home?
We pride ourselves on having a fast and responsive website and significant digital impact. We also have access to channel management across all major platforms such as booking.com and airbnb - this means your property will be shown to the widest possible audience. We work hard to ensure pricing and current booking trends are right for your property. Using our 3D Matterport tours, professional photographs and videos we are able to show your property at its best.
How do I know what bookings I have?
We notify you by email of every new booking, you can also see availability calendar and reports in our dedicated owners’ portal.
What happens if there is a problem with a guest stay?
We have a trusted team of contractors who will endeavor to correct common issues such as water leaks or heating issues. Should a property become uninhabitable we would relocate the guest to another property on our portfolio or secure accommodation elsewhere.
Should the guests cause a problem whilst staying at your home, we can be called out as a responder to address any issues.
