What is included in my rental?
You have full use of the property for the duration of you stay. Towels and bed lined are included for the maximum occupancy of the property. If there is a hot tub, robes and slippers will be provided. A highchair and cot will be at the property and use is free of charge. Logs are provided for any log burners but you may need to purchase more depending on use.
What time can I check in?
Check in is from 4pm.
Can I check in early?
This is sometimes possible so please check with us before your stay. Due to covid-19 measures we are currently unable to accept luggage during the day.
Will someone meet me at the property?
No, the property is accessed by a key box. You can arrive anytime after 4, let yourself in and make yourself at home.
We are planning a special birthday or occasion - can you help?
Absolutely. We are always happy to help organise things for special occasions - like cakes, decorations or anything else.
Can I get online grocery delivery to the property?
Yes. Tesco, Asda and Sainsburys all deliver locally. Your arrival instructions will have the full address and postcode for your rental.
Is there wifi?
Yes, all igloo properties have wifi. Though it might not always be as fast as it is in cities.
What steps are you taking to clean between stays during covid?
We fully comply with Visit Scotland's 'Good to Go' scheme and continue to monitor the latest guidance and developments. Our cleaning teams are working with the ASSC Scottish Government approved guidelines to ensure that your lodge has been cleaned to a safe standard. What happens if there is another lockdown or local restrictions?
We know things can quickly change at the moment, thats why all our bookings can be changed without penalty. In the event of a national lockdown or local restrictions - inline with CMA guidelines and our fair contracts you are entitled to a refund. Find out more on about our Fairness Guarantee.
What do I do if there is a problem at the lodge?
Our contact info will be in the lodge - let us know and we will try our best to help.
Do you offer a returning guest discount?
Yes, you will receive a discount code for your next stay on check-out, we can't wait to welcome you back.
I have booked through Great North Lodges and I have been told my booking is now with igloo - what does this mean?
